Cherry Pie

Method
- it is divided into three parts.
- Crumb crust, Custard and Cherry topping.
- Crumb crust:
- 1 and 1/2 cup arrowroot biscuit crumbs (150 grams)
- Half tablespoon homemade powdered sugar
- 1 and 1/2 tbsp icing sugar
- 6 or 8 tbsp (100 gram ) melted Amul butter
- Mix all of the above ingredients together and press into a 9 inch round pie dish.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in a hot oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit .
- Cool and keep aside.
- Custard:
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 and 1/2 tbsp sugar
- one tablespoon vanilla custard
- Mix all three and then put to boil on slow fire till it becomes thick.
- Cool and spread mixture over the biscuit crumbs.
- Cherry topping:
- 1 tin cherry
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- a little red color
- Mix the Cherry syrup, corn flour and sugar and put it to boil till semi thick.
- Remove from heat. Allow it to cool.
- Take out the seeds off the cherries and mix them with the cornflour mixture.
- Spread them over the custard mixture and decorate with sweet beaten cream.
